Berard
AIT
is a 10 hour auditory intervention. There are 20 supervised
listening sessions of 30 minutes each, completed over 10 or 12
consecutive days. AIT has many
scientific studies. The minimum age recommended is 3
years.

Elementary school. Assessing, planning and implementing therapy. Attend IEP's. Keep
appropriate daily notes and PLS's.

- October 2009: Externship at Innovative Therapies Inc. (NPA)
Assessed, planned and implemented therapy for children and adults of various
ages.

2006 – Present: Worked as a part-time
Speech Therapist Aid
under direct supervision by the Licensed Speech Pathologist on staff.

2007 – 2009:
University-Supervised Clinical Experience:
Graduate clinical experience in Social Comps and general clinic with children
under the age of 10. Experience included case history analysis, formal and
informal testing, specialized individual and group treatment and report
writing. Additional graduate experience in diagnostics: evaluation, analysis
and report writing.

1998 - 2003: Sold my travel agency and started a Dental
Placement Service. Grew the company and sold the business in 2003.

1996 - 1998: I opened a travel agency but it quickly
required more time than I was able to give, as my son who had just been
diagnosed with autism was my priority.

Summer
1995: Externship for B.S. in International Business at Roland International
Freight Services in Los Angeles. Answered phones and questions about
shipping various products to and from various countries. Figured out costs
and gave quotes to potential customers. Packaged and shipped items.
Prepared all relevant freight paperwork including customs forms.
Collected items from the Port of Los Angeles for customers.

1995: Various administrative part time jobs to help pay for my college
expenses.

1983 –
1988: Proctor and Gamble GMBH: Geneva, Switzerland. I was hired as a
Junior Secretary. My job initially consisted of assisting other Secretaries
with the work they were unable or unwilling to perform. I worked in
the Paper Development Department where I worked my way up to Being Head
Secretary of the entire Department in August 1985.
