Pauline Allen, principal of The Sound Learning Centre carries out
continuous research into all fields associated with the therapeutic
interventions offered by the Centre, including detailed analysis of post
treatment results following Berard Auditory
Integration Training (Berard AIT).
Sound Therapies

Berard Auditory Integration Training (Berard AIT): Personal
one-to-one training in France by
Dr. Guy Berard in
assessment and treatment using the Audiokinetron.

Qualified to administer
audiometric tests, check for sound sensitivity and hearing hyper-acuity and
to use the Berard method of AIT.

Pauline Allen is one of
only a few Berard AIT practitioners in the UK to be trained by
Dr. Guy Berard himself and
the only one in the UK authorized to train others in
Berard AIT.

Johansen Auditory
Discrimination Training: Training in assessment and support for using
tapes at home with the originator of the program Dr. Kjeld Johansen, a
Danish educationalist.

SAMONAS Listening Training
(Spectrally Activated Music of Optimal Natural Structure): Training in
assessment and support for using CDs at home with the originator of the
program Ingo Steinbeck, a German physicist, sound engineer and musician.
