PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS
PROFESSIONAL
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

A graduate of
Sheffield Hallam University, UK, June Webb is the parent of a child with a
Specific Learning Disability, and was drawn into the Special Needs field
immediately upon graduating.
-
Initiating her
experience at an International Preparatory School in Singapore, she
quickly moved on to a position as class teacher at a Special School, where
she facilitated the learning for a mixed group of children, including
those diagnosed within the
autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), Fragile X syndrome, Downes Syndrome,
Prader Willis Syndrome, Dyslexia and ADHD.

From there she
moved on to providing and facilitating programs for individual children
and, eventually, was invited to participate in the setting up of the Special
Needs Department of another international school where she remained for 6
years, attaining the position of Department Director.

After leaving the
school to set up FOCUS ON INDIVIDUAL LEARNING, she trained with
Mike McCarthy as an
AIT Practitioner.

She
also trained as a neuro-developmental therapist and is a Licenciate of the
Institute for Neuro-Physiological Psychology in Chester, UK.
