PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Anca Ramsden qualified in 1981 as a clinical psychologist with a Masters degree from Pretoria University, South Africa.
  • She is also a qualified high school teacher, a qualified Auditory Integration Training practitioner, and has completed numerous courses in kinesiology.
  • She has 23-years’ experience both in a hospital setting (adult psychiatric outpatients and child and family units) and in private practice.
    She specializes in the treatment of children, and is trained as a play therapist and as a family therapist.
  • Anca Ramsden has experience in working in education facilities, providing educational assessments and the management of children with learning difficulties. In addition, she has experience in working with victims of violence, including family, political, active combat and criminal violence. She has provided services to people working in stressful work environments—such as special unit police officers and criminal law attorneys.
  • Anca has extensive experience in working with high performance achieving adults and with children with emotional, behavioral, social, learning and career performance problems.
  • Her interest in child development and in treatments for developmental delays in childhood led to her exploration of sensory integration therapies.
  • Since 1990 Anca Ramsden has researched and developed sensory integration as a tool for adult personal development. This program is called Neuro-Psychotherapy, and is based on both emotional and neurological child development principles. It is a comprehensive and highly effective personal development program for adults and children. Hundreds have used the NP program, transforming their own and their families’ lives.
  • Anca has devoted her professional life to developing the happiness, well-being and potential of her clients. Currently Anca Ramsden is in private practice in Sydney, Australia.
