Berard
AIT
is a 10 hour auditory intervention. There are 20 supervised
listening sessions of 30 minutes each, completed over 10 or 12
consecutive days. AIT has many
scientific studies. The minimum age recommended is 3
years.

20 half hour sessions (10 hours).
Fee includes 2 offices visits with parent and audiograms (pre, mid and post)
when possible and tympanogram.
Home based AIT sessions are also available with this AIT Practitioner.

Dr. Ali Hashemian is the President of American College of Behavioral
Medicine and Director of the Attention & Achievement Center.

He holds a PH.D. in
Clinical Psychology from Western Graduate School of Psychology as well as the
Professional Program in Neuropsychological Assessment from the University of
California at Berkeley.

He is a certified
Berard AIT Practitioner and has completed
the Hearing Conservation Certification program at Portland State University.

Dr. Ali Hashemian has received several hundred hours of continuing education and training in child
and adolescent psychiatric disorders from Harvard Medical School, Department of
Psychiatry and Massachusetts General Hospital, an affiliated teaching hospital
of Harvard Medical School.

He has also completed a Mini-Fellowship at Harvard
Medical School in Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation at Beth Israel
Hospital, a teaching affiliate hospital of Harvard Medical School.

He has
completed EEG Neurofeedback training as well as Advanced EEG Neurofeedback
training for ADD/ADHD.

He specializes in alternative
and complimentary treatments for symptoms of ADD/ADHD, Learning Disorders, and
Cognitive Skills Deficits, and as such he does not practice psychology.
